2010 marks the start of an ongoing collaboration between Anderson High School Singapore and Mt Maunganui College. 17 students and three staff members from Anderson High School are currently undertaking a study tour of the Bay of Plenty region.
A key addition to this study tour is the two days of immersion with Mount Maunganui College. This experience will buddy Anderson students with a class of New Zealand students experienced in inquiry based learning in science. The two days are designed to prepare for and complete a project including research, testing and reaching conclusions on key science questions of our time.
They arrive at Mt Maunganui College Monday 15th March and will work with 10Ba students throughout Monday and Tuesday. A field trip to the rocky shore is planned as part of the collaborative activities over the two day period.
