Bangor Grammar School Rugby Visit
Mt College hosted the Bangor Grammar School between August 3rd and 5th. Rugby games were played which resulted in 2 wins for the tourists.
Bangor Grammar school is from Northern Ireland and 30 km north of Belfast. The two schools have a connection in that John Crossman from Mt Maunganui and Chris Harte from Bangor Grammar School had a teacher Exchange in 1992. Then in 2007 a Mt Maunganui student, Andrew Beard, spent 9 months on a Gap programme at Mangor Grammar School.
