Like us on Facebook and keep up to date on training's and regattas

We are based at Tauranga Rowing Club in Memorial Park.  We train and row under Tauranga Rowing Club colours from September to January and then under school colours from February to April.

Mount Maunganui College Rowing started back up in 2016/2017 with a group of 8 girls originally, which turned into 9 for a full coxed 8 by the end of the season, after a 10 year break from the sport.

Rowing is one of the best sports to stay in shape and get fit.  It is low impact and gives you an all over body workout.  You can choose to work as part of a team or as an individual.  Rowing involves commitment. Nothing beats the feeling of knowing that you pushed yourself to the best of your ability at rowing regattas and hear that beep as you cross the finish line whether it be in an 8, 4, quad, double or single boat and find out that you won over the competition by 0.07 of a second.

When you row you gain a second family and meet some amazing people from around the country creating long lasting friendships (even the odd Olympic gold medalist or world rowing champion).

Whether you want to use rowing to keep in shape or to keep fit for another sport, rowing is the sport for you!  Join our great team now!!  Years 9 to 13 - boys or girls.
