Welcome to Surfing at Mount Maunganui College.

Mount Maunganui College offers both competitive and social surfing opportunities. For those students keen to get a taste of surfing or progress their skills a little, we partner with South Pacific Surf School for beginner and progressive surf lessons.

On the competitive front, we have the Mauao Surf Academy, led by Khan Butler and Andrew Fredrickson. The Academy train together and compete at various competitions. We have had great success over the last few years in surfing and hope to build on this in the years to come.
