Welcome to Basketball at Mount Maunganui College

We have many opportunities for our students to play basketball (whether competitively or socially).

If you are interested in playing Basketball, please fill out the Registration of Interest.

Weekly League 

TCBA League - Our Premier Junior and Senior Girls & Boys teams will compete in the Wednesday weekly league. Senior and Junior Social teams play on a Friday night.

Our top teams also compete at Bay of Plenty and New Zealand Secondary School tournaments throughout the season.

• BOP Secondary School Senior Championships - Saturday 15 August 2026, Mount Maunganui
• NISS AA Premierships Zone 2, 2-5 September 2026, Rotorua
• NZSS AA National Championships 28 September - 3 October 2026, Palmerston North​​​​​​​

Approximate costs

• TCBA weekly league - Season fee TBC
• Competitive Juniors - Annual fee TBC
• Competitive Seniors - Annual fee TBC
• Please note that NZSS tournaments are an additional cost.
