Welcome to Athletics at Mount Maunganui College

Our School Athletics Day is held within the first few weeks of school.  It is compulsory for Year 9 and Year 13 students to attend.  This is organised by our PE Department.  Those who place Top 2 at our School Athletics are able to compete at the Bay of Plenty Secondary School event.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING FOR 2026:

Due to the dates set aside for our School Athletics and Bay Of Plenty Secondary School Championships, registrations for the 2026 Bay of Plenty Secondary School event will be done via a link.  Confirmation of entry will be advised once all the times/distances have been collated.  Only those athletes that have met the qualifying times/distances will be considered. Registration link will open early next year.
